LDY single girder overhead cranes are specialized lifting machinery tailored for metallurgical foundries to handle molten metal loads. This series is matched with YH dedicated high-temperature metallurgical wire rope electric hoists, with a maximum rated lifting capacity of 10 tons.
Developed on the mature structural foundation of standard LD single girder overhead cranes, LDY models are perfectly paired with high-temperature resistant metallurgical hoists to satisfy strict safety standards for molten metal hoisting. The main girder’s rigidity and mechanical strength are reinforced via targeted optimization to withstand the special load conditions brought by high-temperature molten metal workpieces.
The bottom surface of the main girder undergoes professional thermal insulation treatment. Its applicable working environment ranges from -10℃ to +60℃, with the relative humidity kept below 50% under 40℃ ambient temperature. All design and production comply with the requirements of AQSIQ Document No. (2007)375.
This metallurgical overhead crane fits general factories, mining yards, power stations, storage warehouses and production workshops. Two standard control modes are available: wired ground pendant operation and wireless remote control. Apart from molten iron and steel ladle transportation, the LDY crane can also lift red-hot solid metal blanks and ordinary metal workpieces.
