Garbage disposal overhead cranes equipped with waste grab buckets are core critical equipment for municipal waste incineration power plants. Mounted above garbage storage pits, they undertake full-process workflows including garbage feeding, transferring, homogenizing mixing and automatic weighing. Three operation modes are available: manual, semi-automatic and fully automatic, supporting automatic grabbing, cyclic feeding, cyclic dumping and automatic return parking.

Three Control Modes

  1. Manual Mode
                   Operators manipulate the whole crane through onboard linkage control consoles.

  2. Semi-Automatic Mode
                   Grab opening/closing and grabbing actions are manually controlled; automatic functions cover traveling to feeding ports, online weighing and furnace feeding.

  3. Fully Automatic Mode
                   After receiving feeding instructions from the incinerator feeding port, the crane executes the entire workflow unmanned: traveling to waste stacking area, lowering grab, grabbing garbage, hoisting materials, moving to feeding port, automatic weighing, furnace charging and returning to standby position, and repeats the whole cycle continuously.

Core Basic Working Functions

  1. Furnace Feeding: Grab fermented household waste and deliver it into the incinerator.

  2. Hoisting & Transfer: Adjust waste stock position to prevent blockage of feeding gates; control garbage reserves in the pit to maintain a 3–5 day fermentation stock volume.

  3. Homogenizing Mixing: Turn and mix stacked garbage to drain excess moisture, shorten fermentation cycles and ensure stable, safe incineration combustion.

  4. Foreign Object Removal: Fish out non-combustible hard sundries accumulated in the waste pit.

  5. Automatic Weighing: Accurately measure waste weight before dumping materials into the incinerator.
