Developed for container handling scenarios, the Weihua Rail Mounted Gantry Crane (RMG) is widely applicable to inland container terminals, storage yards, railway freight stations, coastal cargo yards and border docks. Adopting full-digital AC variable frequency drive, PLC control and intelligent condition monitoring (CMS) core technologies, the equipment achieves efficient, accurate and safe cargo handling.
Structure and Components
This RMG crane is mainly composed of steel frame structure, lifting unit, micro transfer mechanism, spreader anti-sway system, crane travelling device, container spreader, electric control system and auxiliary supporting parts. It is equipped with variable frequency and PLC control system as well as CMMS fault diagnosis system, fully conforming to GB/T19683-2005, JT/T566-2004, ISO, FEM, JIS and other domestic and international industry standards.
Types & Mechanisms
Double Cantilever Gantry Crane: Features a wide clearance between support legs for container passage. The overall structure adopts a U-shaped leg design matched with an N-shaped main girder.
Non-Cantilever Crane: Boasts a simple structural layout, with no container passage required between the outriggers.
Stabilization Performance: Rope-type structures are equipped with damping devices, while rigid-type structures rely on self-structural rigidity. Optional anti-sway devices effectively optimize operating stress and improve working efficiency.
Drive & Safety System: Longitudinal and transverse travelling adopt integrated three-in-one gear motors. The trolley supports 270° rotation, and the crane is fitted with shaft breakage prevention, wind speed alarm, anti-overturning and multiple other safety protection devices.
