Grab-equipped double girder overhead cranes are assembled with main girders, long-travel mechanisms, hoist trolley, complete electrical control assemblies and dedicated grab buckets. This type of overhead crane is extensively deployed in power plants, indoor warehouses, production workshops and port terminals to grab and transport loose bulk materials. The rated lifting capacity takes the self-weight of the grab into full consideration, and two grab opening layouts are available: parallel to main girders or perpendicular to main girders.
