Electromagnetic beam overhead cranes are dedicated special lifting equipment for transporting all kinds of steel products such as steel plates and steel pipes. The complete set consists of main girders, long-travel mechanisms, hoist trolley, full electrical assemblies and customized electromagnetic lifting spreaders.

A core advantage of this crane is its power-off magnetic retention function: the electromagnet can maintain stable suction force for up to 10 minutes after power cut, effectively preventing accidental dropping of steel materials. The magnet spreader’s outline can be tailor-made according to workpiece shapes, with optional round disc magnets, square magnets and other forms.

Two mainstream electromagnetic lifting attachments are available: electromagnetic chucks and integrated electromagnetic beams. Electromagnetic beams are further split into two categories: non-rotatable beams (installed vertically or parallel to the main girder) and rotatable beams (top-mounted beam or underhung hanging beam).
