The dam top floodgate gantry crane is specially engineered for hydraulic engineering applications. It is mainly used for the transportation, installation and routine maintenance of hydropower station equipment, including floodgates, trash racks and other water conservancy facility components. With excellent lifting capacity and reliable operation performance, it provides an efficient solution for dam maintenance and hydraulic structure management.

The MQ series gantry crane is available in both unidirectional and bidirectional travelling configurations. The unidirectional model adopts a fixed hoist installed on the gantry frame and travels along dam rails, providing linear working coverage for floodgates arranged in a single row. The bidirectional model is equipped with a cross travelling trolley that moves perpendicular to the crane travelling direction, enabling flexible lifting operations for upstream and downstream floodgates and trash racks across multiple rows.

Synchronous dual lifting point control

The equipment features heavy-load capacity and low working speed, with general operating speeds below 4 m/min. Certain quick gate models support higher speeds of 10–14 m/min to satisfy rapid operation requirements.
