QY insulated overhead crane belongs to specialized lifting machinery developed for unique industrial sites with strict electrical isolation demands. It serves as core handling equipment for electrolytic aluminum, calcium carbide and similar production workflows, with the core function of blocking electric current transmission via the crane’s metal frame to safeguard the whole production line and supporting equipment.

The complete machine assembly includes rigid overhead framework, crane long-travel assembly, hoisting unit, electrical control components and dedicated insulation assemblies. To cut off electric conduction paths, insulating blocks are embedded inside the overhead beam, and isolating layers are sandwiched between all interconnected metal fittings, stopping current from flowing through the crane body. The entire hoisting mechanism also undergoes full insulation treatment to eliminate safety risks while hoisting live charged workpieces.

High-durability insulation parts including ceramic pieces and fiberglass reinforced plastic components are widely adopted.
