The free-standing jib crane, also referred to as floor jib crane, fixed pillar jib crane or column cantilever crane, belongs to light-duty lifting machinery optimized for modern industrial production. Our BZD series free-standing jib crane is manufactured in full compliance with German design standards.
This jib crane boasts an innovative, rational and streamlined structural layout, paired with intuitive operation, flexible slewing performance and wide working coverage. Featuring energy-saving and high-efficiency characteristics, it is extensively deployed for workpiece and material hoisting tasks on factory production lines, assembly stations, machine tool processing areas, mine workshops, warehouses and dock yards.
The whole set consists of vertical support pillar, slewing mechanism, jib beam and matched electric hoist. The base of the pillar is firmly anchored onto concrete ground foundations, while the jib arm supports adjustable slewing movement with two optional drive modes: manual rotation and electric motorized rotation. Users can fit electric chain hoists or wire rope hoists onto the jib track to complete vertical cargo lifting work.
The hoist trolley travels along the underside of the jib beam, and the slewing gearbox drives the whole cantilever to rotate freely. An integrated electrical control cabinet is mounted directly on the hoist unit for convenient centralized operation.
Two control modes are available for daily operation: wired pendant push-button handle and wireless remote controller. The standard 8-button pendant covers all core movements: fast lifting, fast lowering, slow lifting, slow lowering, left & right jib rotation, as well as horizontal trolley traversal.
Operation Safety Guidelines
1. Do not activate fast and slow speed buttons or forward/reverse rotation buttons of the same motor simultaneously during running.
2. Strictly prohibit personnel staying or passing beneath the jib arm while the crane is in operation.
3. Overload lifting beyond the rated load capacity is completely forbidden to avoid safety hazards.
4. The crane adopts split disassembled packaging to cut down transportation costs and space. Customers can finish installation independently by following the detailed official operation manual.
