Insulation overhead cranes are special lifting equipment extensively deployed in electrolytic non-ferrous metal smelting workshops, including electrolytic aluminum and magnesium production lines. The complete crane set consists of box-type main girders, long-travel running mechanisms, hoist trolleys and full electrical assemblies.

Electrolysis workshops feature high-current working environments. To avoid electric current conducting from the hoisting assembly to the whole crane and causing fatal safety hazards to operators, key load-bearing components of this crane adopt layered insulation isolation treatment. The crane is designed for heavy-duty continuous operation class, therefore the main hoisting system is fitted with dual independent brakes to fully guarantee safe stable production.

1. Three-layer segmented insulation isolation structure is adopted to block current conduction paths between the lifting hook, pulley blocks, hoisting mechanism, trolley frame and main crane body for comprehensive electric safety protection.

2. Under ambient conditions of 20℃~25℃ and relative humidity ≤85%, the insulation impedance of each isolation section is no less than 1 MΩ.
